London College of Fashion and Central St Martins graduate Heidi Mottram worked in the art, fashion and textile industries for several years, working with many major international designers including Vivienne Westwood and Matthew Williamson. In 2007 she decided to launch her own line, using the textile she is known as the “UK guru” for in its use in design and fashion, eel skin.
Heidi uses her skills to manipulate the skins to create pleating, ruching, pin tucking and folding, creating beautifully crafted bags, purses and wallets. The designs also come in a range of sizes and colours, offering a lot of choice, which can be rare with such a specialist method. With everything from card holders, to oversized clutches we’re sure you’ll find something you’ll love.
