On Saturday 6th February at 8:30am, Angels the Costumier will once again open its gigantic warehouse doors in Wembley to vintage loving fashion enthusiasts. Over 25,000 pieces of good quality garments and accessories from the 1950’s – 1990’s will be sold at bargain prices in this amazing one-day event. Also, much of it has featured in screen or stage productions over the past 50 years, having come from Angels’ extensive stock of film, television and theatre costumes and accessories.
The event follows up the hugely successful Big Vintage Clothing Sale in 2008 and Uniform Sale in 2009, and this is expected to be just as big. Therefore, I must warn you to get there early, as devoted vintage fans usually begin to queue a few hours before. It is definitely worth queuing a little to get the best stuff, I recommend you get there an hour or so before and warm yourself with a flask of tea and happy vintage thoughts.
