Fake London

It’s been quite obvious for some time now that a 90’s revival has been imminent, Take That, 90210 and double denim should have been warning enough! But, whilst some fashions should stay firmly in the past (Mel B’s Camo mini dress anyone?), others should be welcomed with open arms, like Fake London, the iconic 90’s brand who are back and better than ever.

After taking a break for a few years, Fake London have released a new collection but are sticking to their roots. I don’t want to sound like Nick Griffin but it’s all so British, and I love it, think union jacket prints and mod clothing mixed in with Jane Austen and Sherlock Holmes. Floaty dresses, skinny leggings, tweed capes and fur feature throughout, and the colour palette wouldn’t be out of place on a Norfolk farm, but this just makes it work even more. So if you want to embrace something good from the 90’s put down the N Sync CD and head down to Harvey Nichols where Fake London is now on sale.
